Come see my one-man show "Apostle of Freedom"!

Tickets on sale for my new one-man show "Apostle of Freedom" about the life of AME and African American founding father Richard Allen. Last year a statue was erected at the church he founded, Mother Bethel, in Philadelphia. Additionally, a US postage stamp was issued to commemorate Allen last year. I have had the great, great fortune of playing Richard Allen on film and on TV and for many special events and occasions. He was one of the most remarkable men to ever live. Portraying him has changed my life and in turn I hope this changes yours. The show debuts as part of the Beacon Theatre's Fall Festival on November 17th and 18th. Tickets can be purchased here.

There will be a talk-back with the audience following the show. The show begins its national tour in February 2018, courtesy of Actors Equity Association.

"Whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

Have the best of weekends everyone.
